Sikkim

Sikkim is a small state in northeastern India. It is surrounded by Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal, and the Indian state of West Bengal. The capital city is Gangtok. Sikkim is famous for its beautiful mountains, including Kanchenjunga, one of the highest peaks in the world.
The people of Sikkim come from different ethnic groups like Lepchas, Bhutias, and Nepalese, and most people speak Nepali. Buddhism and Hinduism are the main religions.

Yumthang Valley

Yumthang Valley, known as the "Valley of Flowers," is located about 150 km from Gangtok in North Sikkim, at an altitude of 11,800 feet. It features stunning meadows, hot springs, yaks, and the Teesta River. Renowned for its diverse flowers, especially rhododendrons, which bloom from late February to mid-June, the valley is a popular spot for nature lovers. Permits are required for access.

Tsomgo Lake

Tsomgo Lake, also called Changu Lake, is a beautiful icy lake found 40 kilometers away from Gangtok in Sikkim. It sits high up at 12,400 feet and gives amazing views of snowy mountains and forests. Local people think it's very special and visitors have to get a permit before going because it's close to the border between India and China.

Char Dham

Char Dham is a group of four important Hindu temples located in Namchi, South Sikkim. These temples include Siddheswar Dham, Sai Baba Temple, Kirateshwar Mahadev Temple, and a replica of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. People visit here for blessings and to enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It's a significant religious and tourist destination in Sikkim.

Ravangla is a picturesque town in South Sikkim, India. It's known for its stunning views of the Himalayas, including Kanchenjunga. Tourists can visit attractions like Buddha Park and Ralong Monastery, and enjoy activities like trekking and birdwatching. Ravangla offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature's beauty.
